Nationwide the AFSCME Retiree Program has over 220,000 members. More than 3,000 are in the State of Wisconsin.

Those of you who receive City of Milwaukee Pension Fund (ERS) benefits may be eligible to join Retiree Chapter 48. Chapter 48 does not require prior membership in AFSCME locals. Our association includes former management, union and non-represented retirees and their spouses.

If you receive benefits from the Milwaukee County Pension Fund, you may be eligible to join the Retiree Sub-Chapter 36. All retired persons who were members of AFSCME or would have been eligible to be members of AFSCME and the spouses of such persons who, while actively employed, were Milwaukee County employees, are eligible for membership.
