Membership Benefits
for Sub-Chapter 36

With the backing of District Council 48 and AFSCME, our retiree group is better able to fight to protect our retirement benefits.

Retiree membership in Sub-Chapter 36 entitles you to:

    1. Monthly Retiree meetings here in Milwaukee County where you can get together with friends and colleagues from your working days.

    2. Subscriptions to AFSCME's "Prime Time Newsletter", which will keep you current on retiree news across the country, and to the "AFSCME Works Magazine," which will keep you informed on the latest public-sector issues.

    3. Participation in Lobby Day in Madison, where AFSCME members meet with other members statewide to discuss issues of importance to workers and retirees with our state representative.

    4. Participation in political endorsement proceedings and campaigns to elect leaders who represent our interests in Milwaukee County, Madison and the nation.

    5. Participation in the morning Labor Fest (Labor Day Parade) in downtown Milwaukee.

By joining Milwaukee County Retirees Sub-Chapter 36, you and other retirees can address important issues with clout and force. You must have had some experience as an AFSCME member, or spouse, to join.

Take a minute to fill out
the membership application and return it to us. Dues are only $15.00 per year, effective January 1, 2007. Mail your application -- and your check made out to Milwaukee County Sub-Chapter 36 Retirees -- to:
