By joining, you will have an opportunity to obtain additional benefits. Specific information will be sent to you upon joining the MRA. Dental Insurance: 1. A dental plan with reasonable premiums and benefits that can be used with any dentist. You are also able to purchase vision insurance as part of this dental plan for an additional monthly amount. There are a variety of payment methods available. 2. Also available is the Care-Plus Gold Dental Plan. For an annual fee, you receive discounts off of their regular charges. You MUST use one of their six offices located in Wisconsin for your dental needs. Vision: For your vision needs, Wisconsin Vision annually mails coupons with special prices for exams, glasses and contact lenses. They have 20 offices throughout Wisconsin and Northern Illinois. Coupons can also be requested by mail to our Post Office Box. Insurance: American Income Life Insurance Company provides our members with a $2,000 Accidental Death and Dismemberment policy FREE of charge. Other Benefits: The AFSCME International Advantage Program is also available to retiree members. Currently there are many money saving offers in the program.
